Design and Looks
Though a budget phone, phone sports an excellent build quality and a solid feel. The phone has dimensions of 83x47x14.7 which makes it easy to fit in any pocket. The handset comprises of small 1.8" 65K-color TFT display of 128 x 160 pixels resolution.
The control keys and the D-pad are comfortable surrounded by two soft keys, the Call and End keys and also the “my shortcut” and Clear keys. The slider phone with rubber ridges has a flatbed alphanumeric keypad which is comfortable to use and it's with even the first row that sometimes difficult to access with slider phones.
The handset comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera that's low quality with no flash or autofocus system. There is also no dedicated camera control buttons. The interface is plain and simple.
MMS is supported on the phone. The phone is supplied with average earphones and does a decent job with the music player on board. The FM radio features TrackID and comes a along with a small tiny loudspeaker one can use the radio or music with.
There are standard organizer lineup features included such as calendar, tasks, notes, timer, stopwatch and calculator. WAP 2.0 XHTML browser is also included for basic mobile internet browsing. When it comes to making calls, the phone has a nice Smart Search feature which lists all the available contacts in the phonebook starting with the digits typed. The phone is a tri-band GSM./GPRS phone. The only wireless data transfer option is Bluetooth v2.0.
Overall the phone comes with sparse features and stands up as a budget phone appealing to the newer generation. The major flaw would be its internal capacity being just a mere 8MB which provides almost no room for more than 2 or 3 audio tracks. If these minimalistic features are not a problem and if you're looking for a budget phone it did be a decent option to go ahead with.
